Primary and secondary school students perform immersive drama

Unlike the classic flower-drum opera “Woodcutter Liu Hai”, all characters in this new opera are performed by primary and secondary school students, ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old. The themes of love and dedication, courage and wisdom are presented.
A head of Hunan Flower-drum Opera Protection and Inheritance Center said that it will continue to explore more artistic expression forms that integrate traditional and modern elements, carry out regular performances in the theater to provide a platform for children to learn and display their talent, cultivate more young people who love traditional culture, and promote the innovative development of fine traditional culture.
