Although hidden in Chuanyan Mountain, Fengxiang Village is just like Castle in the Sky in reality.
After drinking a bowl of wine, you step into the charming Fengxiang Village. It has tall buildings and gates with wooden eaves and chairs where you can enjoy campfire party with the ethnic characteristic of the Yao group. It is well worth mentioning that the boundless hot spring on the top is inlaid among verdant mountains, just like a sapphire. It seems that nothing will annoy you after you come here.
Observation Deck
The suspended glass observation deck gives you a great view of magnificent sunrise and clouds.
The magnificent scenery in Chuanyan Mountain is its clouds and sunrise. In the early morning, you stand on observation deck and see the glow in the east where beautiful scenery of sunrise and clouds can be photographed. Its grandeur can never be described unless you admire it on the spot.
Less than 300 meters below the observation deck, a home stay with ancient architectural style is built to accommodate hundreds of people. Five-star facilities and high-grade tent camps are also equipped. You can go directly to the observation deck on foot from your residence.
Qianli Ancient Village
The high-grade tent camps, clouds and stars give you chances to get close to nature. On the back of Chuanyan Mountain lays an inn with unique shape and embracing pavilions. It is hidden within dense forests, with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. The tidy and elegant guest rooms are adequate destinations to sense the seclusion of dense forests during the day and listen to the singing of insects and frogs when lying in the tent at night.
Huaihua’s First Glass Walkway
You can spiral down the main peak of Chuanyan Mountain to enjoy unusual feelings. The glass walkway is hidden in dense forests, measuring 588 meters long with a vertical distance of 218 meters. You can slide down rapidly, just like shuttling through a natural oxygen bar. All your feelings, such as startle, surprise, screaming and visual impact, are beyond imagination.
Tea-horse Ancient Road
The Tea-horse Ancient Road is a classic and famous scenic spot of Chuanyan Mountain. It is said that Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet in ancient times, was exiled here. When he saw a rock looking like a ghost with affectionate eyes, he wrote the famous poem the Mountain Spirit, depicting a magnificent and bizarre image of a ghost. On top of the Tea-horse Ancient Road lays the Red Army Pavilion. During the period of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, this ancient road was once the “ army lifeline” in Longtan Campaign.
Pigsty Bar
No pigs are in the pigsty, though, you can visit its distinctive street, drink tea and wine, and wash your feet. The bar is backed by Chuanyan Mountain and faced with the Shixi River from forest leisure town to Xupu South Station of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway. With eighteen bars, two yards and one street, it is the first music bar with countryside characteristic in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, covering an area of 1,500 square meters. The bar provides tea, wine, music as well as health care, and it is a social bar suitable for business, reception, gathering and entertainment.
