Meishan Dragon Palace

Situated on the bank of the Zishui River in Xinhua County, Loudi City, it is a karst landscape featuring caves, canyon, peaks, cliffs, spring, sinkholes and sink streams. There are nine caves with a verified length of more than 2,870 meters, among which 1,896 meters of tourist routes have been developed, including a rare underground river with a length of 466 meters.
There are six scenic spots boasting splendid scenery: Yingbin Palace, Lotus Palace, the Jade Emperor’s Heavenly Palace, Fairy Garden, Dragon Palace Ingenious Design and Auspicious Palace.
Yingbin Palace
As the first sightseeing spot, Yingbin Palace greets visitors with illuminated lanterns and breathtaking entrance hall. As you keep walking forward, a series of stone sculptures will come into view such as fish Leaping over Longmen, Fairy Tree and Unicorn, and Confucius Study Tour.
Lotus Palace
Lotus Palace sits at the bottom of the cave group, where a 466-meter- long spectacular canyon is carved by an underground river.
Fairy Garden
Fairy Garden is located in the fifth floor of the cave group. It is considered the treasure house of the Dragon Palace because the stalactites here in the development period are crystal clear and bright.

In this part you can find all kinds of wonders, natural or manufactured.
Auspicious Palace
Auspicious Palace enjoys its name because the co-occurrence of dragon and phoenix indicates prosperity and happiness.
Jade Emperor’s Heavenly Palace
In the Jade Emperor’s Heavenly Palace erect huge stalagmites and stone pillars. It is about 28 meters higher than the underground river, where two of the world natural karst caves can be enjoyed, namely the Birth of Nezha and the Jade Emperor’s Palace.
