The Xuefeng Mountain is picturesque all around the year. Boasting different beauty in different seasons, it attracts a constant stream of visitors.
Located in the southwestern and central part of Hunan, the Xuefeng Mountain is 350 kilometers long and 80-120 kilometers wide. It is not only the longest mountain in Hunan, but also the iconic mountain in the transition from the 2nd to the 3rd level in the 3rd step of the Chinese geography. The Subao Peak, the main peak of the Xuefeng Mountain, is situated in Hongjiang City, at an altitude of 1,934 meters.
Abounding with natural and humanistic resources, the Xuefeng Mountain is a well-known summer resort in Hunan. The Xuefeng Mountain witnessed the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
On a hot summer day, the highest temperature in the Xuefeng Mountain is only 26℃. What a delight it is to admire the spectacular clouds and indulge in the unique coolness among the lush mountains and lucid waters.
