4th Asia Pacific Geopark Week kicks off in Zhangjiajie

On April 21, the 4th Asia Pacific Geopark Week jointly launched by 29 geological parks and Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) kicked off at Zhangjiajie World Geopark Museum Square to commemorate the 54th World Earth Day, which falls on April 22 every year.



The theme of this event is “Cherish the Earth, Harmonious Coexistence between Man and Nature”. The main venue is located in the lecture hall of Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), with Zhangjiajie World Geopark Museum Square as the sub-venue.



This event will continue until April 28. At the sub-venue, the special exhibition of “World Geopark Scenery Photography Works in China” was highly favored. Many tourists braved the drizzle to admire exquisite geological park pictures, and signed their names on the “World Geopark Plastic Reduction Proposal” to help protect the environment in Zhangjiajie.
