Qingyun Cave Scenic Area opens to visitors

The attraction project, located at Maluxi Village of Anhua County, was invested in, constructed, and operated by Anhua Zouxing Travel Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd..

In memory of Qu Yuan, Qingyun Cave takes the famous poem “Nine Songs” from his work “Elegies of the South” as the blueprint, combined with Chinese traditional mythological stories, the allegory of “Youth Slaying the Dragon” and the traditional folk worship, to create a fantastic story.
Based on this story, such digital technologies are used in Qingyun Cave as 3D mapping projection, naked-eye 3D LED technology, and holographic immersive imaging to empower historical culture and create a scenic area with a movie-like setting. With the first immortal style of the Chinese fantasy genre and immersive experience in China, it presents unique beauty perfectly to visitors.

Chang Sheng, head of Anhua Zouxing, stated in an interview that Qingyun Cave Scenic Area is a comprehensive IP project that integrates cultural tourism, light and shadow art, film and television animation, and gaming content. Visitors can not only enjoy the cave landscape but also learn about Qu Yuan culture and Chu culture through audio-visual content.
During the May Day holiday, the Flower Sea Ecological Park and Hunan Golden Eagle Cartoon Satellite TV will jointly hold the 2023 Anhua Flower Sea·Magee Music Festival & Celebrity Concert, to create a parent-child music feast that integrates music, leisure and companionship. Currently, the second Lake and Reservoir Rally is being held at the Flower Sea Ecological Park.
Qingyun Cave is one of the projects launched by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism for rural revitalization, as well as a demonstration point for cultural revitalization leading to rural revitalization in Anhua County.
Currently, Anhua County boasts four national 4A scenic areas, four national 3A scenic areas, and one provincial-level tourism resort. In 2022, a total of 9.1 million visitors were received, with comprehensive tourism revenue of 9.5 billion yuan. The county’s ecological tourism, Red tourism, sports tourism and wellness tourism have achieved diversified development.
