Booming nighttime economy at Zhongguling Pedestrian Street

Zhongguling Pedestrian Street is located in Lusong District, Zhuzhou City, which is Zhuzhou’s central business district and only hundreds of meters far away from Zhuzhou Railway Station.
On January 3, 2023, Zhongguling was recognized as a “provincial tourism leisure block” by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
At Zhongguling street, the monthly rent for a stall ranges from 2,000 yuan to 2,800 yuan. And the night market is open from 17:00 to 3:00 am.
Zhuzhou City is one of the first batch of 8 national key construction industrial cities. Due to its special history, it can be considered an immigrant city. And that is the reason why Zhuzhou is a city of great inclusiveness.
With the west station building of Zhuzhou Railway Station as the center, the Lusong Clothing Market (with an area of 1.5 square kilometers, it is a regional and national modern logistics center), the largest clothing distribution center in Central and South China, is at the south of the station. Zhongguling Pedestrian Street is a few hundred meters to the north of the station.
Though the merchants in Zhuzhou are from across the country, most of them have settled in Zhuzhou and contributed a lot to Zhuzhou’s booming economy.
The night market is an important part of the life culture of the masses. Therefore, efforts should made to revitalize the nighttime economy and stimulate consumption, so as to inject new impetus into the development of Zhuzhou City.
